Who is Lakeside?

Lakeside Foods, Inc., is a diversified food manufacturing company. We place a great deal of emphasis on the quality of our product and a very strong focus on our service.

With a company history extending back to 1883, when Albert Landreth first began canning operations along the shores of Lake Michigan, Lakeside Foods has been built around solid principles which were set forth centuries ago.

Today, Lakeside combines these principals with modern facilities and processing equipment.  Operating an extensive fleet of efficient harvesting equipment, employing tunnel freezers and utilizing the latest canning and labeling technologies available to our industry, Lakeside is able to provide customers with superior products, excellent on-time delivery rates, and outstanding customer service.

An extensive customer survey completed recently showed Lakeside is a leader in service. We have even been awarded by our customers for our exceptional customer service. We are proud of our high service levels, but we will continue to explore improvement opportunities. We understand there is an opportunity to improve and create solutions for our customers.
